Recruitment industry pioneers’ triumph at the 2020 TIARAs

Winners of the 2020 TIARA Recruitment Awards in Australia were revealed in a virtual ceremony attended by more than 100 leaders from the country’s top performing Recruitment companies.

“Covid-19 has moved organisations and the world from ‘business as usual’ to transformation”, said David Head, Director of TALiNT Partners. “On the back of one of the hardest trading periods on record, this year’s pandemic-defying TIARA winners have triumphed to achieve continued growth and development in their businesses.”

People Infrastructure and The Recruitment Company were both multiple Award winners, each completing the ‘double’.  People Infrastructure were successful in both the Bullhorn Diversity & Inclusion Award as well as The Best Large Recruitment Company To Work For.   The Recruitment Company were victorious in the Most Innovative Use of Technology and the Best Training & Development Award.

New winners this year included Sullivan Consulting who picked up The Recruit Wizard Client Service Award and Morgan McKinley who won the Best Mid-Sized Recruitment Company To Work For accolade.

Several companies made a successful return, winning trophies for the second or third year running. TaylorCare were crowned The Volcanic Specialist Recruitment Company of the Year and Harrier held onto their Best RPO crown.

There were also wins for Horner in the Back-Office Team of the Year, people2people who won the Recruit Wizard Candidate Experience Award and Launch Recruitment who took home the Bullhorn CSR Initiative of the Year.

The Volcanic Brand of the Year was won by Smaart and the Growth Company of the Year went to HorizonOne. 

Long term sponsor of the Awards the Ayers Group was on hand to present two awards. The Ayers Group Rising Star Award went to Talenza and the Ayers Group Best Small Recruitment Company went to Entrée. “Ayers Group is delighted to support the TIARA campaign to celebrate the achievements of Australia’s leading recruitment companies,” said CEO, Colin Cuthbert.

The final award on the evening was The Entire Software Business Leader of the Year, which was won by Jason Elias from Elias Recruitment.

The TIARA 2020 Recruitment Awards campaign was once again supported by the industry’s leading suppliers, including Ayers Group, Recruit Wizard, Volcanic, Bullhorn, Entire Software and Daxtra. More than 20 leading industry figures formed the independent judging panel which included, Charles Cameron from the RCSA, Mike Beeley, Ross Clennett, Rod Hore, Col Levander and David Carman.
